Energy Consumption and Energy Saving
During the reporting year, the Company carried out energy conservation and energy efficiency improvement activities in accordance with the following documents:
- Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 161 dated 11 February 2021 on establishing requirements for regional and municipal energy saving and energy efficiency improvement programmes
- Federal Law of the Russian Federation No. 261‑FZ dated 23 November 2009 on energy saving and enhanced energy efficiency, as well as amendments to certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation
- Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 340 dated 15 May 2010 on the procedure for setting requirements for energy saving and energy efficiency improvement programmes of organisations engaged in regulated activities
- Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 977 dated 1 December 2009 on investment programmes of electric power industry entities (as amended)
- Order of the KKSTRD dated 14 June 2023 No. 8/2023 on amendments to Order of the Krasnodar Krai Department of State Tariff Regulation dated 31 March 2023 No. 5/2023 On approval of requirements for energy saving and energy efficiency improvement programmes of organisations engaged in regulated activities in the Krasnodar Krai
- Law of the Krasnodar Krai on energy saving and energy efficiency improvement in the Krasnodar Krai No. 1912‑KZ dated 3 March 2010
- The Company’s Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency Improvement Programme for 2023–2027 approved by the Board of Directors’ resolution dated 29 June 2022 (hereinafter referred to as the Programme).
To make sure that the Programme is implemented as is right and proper, Rosseti Kuban JSC appointed the persons responsible for arranging and monitoring its fulfilment, and established working groups as well.
The targets of the Programme:
- Reduction of electricity losses in transmission and distribution
- Consumption of energy resources for household needs
- Number of LED‑based lighting devices
Achievement of the Programme’s targets:
- Actual electricity losses during transmission and distribution on the power grids as of year‑end 2024 amounted to 9.33%, with the plan of 8.89%, i.e., the indicator for reduction of electricity losses during transmission and distribution on the power grid failed to be met.
- The volume of energy resources consumption for household needs as of the end of 2024 was 3,660 TFOE against the plan of 4,040 TFOE, i.e., indicator for consumption of energy resources for household needs was met.
- Number of LED light fittings as of year‑end 2024 was 97% of the total number of light fittings in use, with a plan of 75%, i.e. the indicator of number of LED light fittings is met.
