On 30 March 2021, the Board of Directors of Rosseti Kuban identified innovative development, together with follow‑up control of the current Innovative Development ProgrammeMinutes No. 426/2021 dated 2 April 2021., as a priority area for the Company’s operations.
The key areas of the current Innovation Development Programme for 2024–2029 with an outlook to 2035 include:
Transition to smart 35–110 (220) kV substations
Transition to smart grids with a distributed intellectual automation and control system
Transition to integrated business process efficiency and automation of control systems
Application of advanced technology solutions and materials in power engineering
Promotion of an innovative development management system and establishment of an innovative infrastructure
The decrease in R&D scope in 2022–2024 is attributable to the completion of four R&D contracts signed in 2019–2021 and the commencement of four new contracts in 2023–2024.
